close to amazing parks and historic attractions for weekend explorers

My friend and I really loved how this place was just a few steps from the Butler-Turpin State Historic House, and the staff, especially Kelly, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable by recommending great nearby eateries for after our daily city strolls.

great location but noisy neighbors

The property maintained a clean appearance throughout my stay. Having multiple fast food options nearby was convenient for quick meals.

Unfortunately, I could hear the neighboring rooms during the night.

Family, but not worth the price

The staff was friendly, they had plenty of towels and the room was freshly cleaned. The breakfast was a letdown, like it used to be better if you ask me.

The room was clean and appeared recently remodeled, the fresh paint smell was noticeable, which was nice. However, the breakfast left some room for improvement. The items were not as hot as expected, especially the sausage and biscuits were lukewarm and quite dry. I did enjoy that there were lots of food options nearby, including El Nopal Mexican restaurant, which was delicious. The only real downside was that although the grounds were clean, the parking lot was a bit crowded with semi-trucks parked nearby. Luckily, it didn’t bother us, but it might be an issue for some. I had a good stay overall, just a few tweaks needed to make it even better.

Nice remodel, but watch your step!

This place was decent for my fam. Room looked nice and fresh, like they just painted. The crew was super friendly. Cute little breakfast spot with waffles. Just a heads up, the entryway had a giant hole that could mess up your car — kinda sketchy. Overall, it worked for us since we just needed a place to crash.
